How to Have a Gentle and Quiet Spirit

A quiet and gentle woman:

1.  Is quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19; Proverbs 18:13)
2. Turns away wrath with soft words (Proverbs 15:1)
3. Has gracious speech (Colossians 4:6)
4. Lives peaceably with others (Romans 12:18)
5. Is loving (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
6. Puts others before herself (Philippians 2:3-4)
7. Is hospitable (Romans 12:13; Hebrews 13:2; 1 Peter 4:9)
8. Cares for the poor (Proverbs 31:20)
9. Is kind and wise (Proverbs 31:26)
10. Is compassionate, humble, meek, patient, forbearing, and forgiving (Colossians 3:12-13)
11. Does not argue or complain (Philippians 2:14)
12. Does not judge (Matthew 7:1)
13. Treats others as she would have them treat her (Matthew 7:12)
14. Works as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23-24)
15. Trusts in the Lord with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6)
16. Is more concerned with what God values than with her outward appearance (1 Peter 3:3-4)
